Microsoft Compared its Surface Pro 7 with Apple MacBook Pro13.

In a recent video, Microsoft has compared its 2-in-1 with arch-rival from Apple, the MacBook Pro 13. The video doesn't say which one has more features, and which performs better rather it shows a few extra points of the Surface Pro 7 over the MacBook Pro. Basically, Microsoft takes a dig at Mackbook Pro 13.

The video starts by talking about the Surface Pro 7’s touchscreen and the support for the stylus pen that is good for creators and note-taking. Moreover, the person in the video says that the Touch Bar in MacBook Pro is not as easy to use. “Why can't they give me a whole touchscreen”.

The video also talks about the power of the devices. The guy says that Microsoft Surface Pro 7 can run all our favorite apps and most of the games as well which looks interesting. However, this might not be possible in the MacBook Pro which runs on macOS. Lastly, the video compares the prices of both Surface Pro 7 and MacBook Pro 13.

The Surface Pro 7 wins here because of its affordable price tag of $890 as compared to the rival’s $1,300 price tag. The guy also talks about the versatility of the product. “Only Surface Pro seven has the versatility and portability of both a tablet and a laptop. Features like a touchscreen, detachable keyboard and pen, and enough power to run your favorite apps, you can work or play from anywhere. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 has everything you need to do what you love.”

As far as the new Surface Pro 7 is concern, it varies from $750 all the way up to $2,100. You can configure it based on processors and storage. Like Intel Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 chipsets along with 4GB, 8GB, and 16GB RAM and 120GB, 256GB, and 1TB of inbuilt storage. All of them run on the Intel 10th generation processors.

Although the ad tries to convince the audience that the Surface Pro 7 is a better device than the Mackbook Pro 13, it doesn't make MackBook pro any less worthy. Yes, the MackBook Pro lacks a touch screen but people don't buy Apple's MacBook Pro for a touch screen or for playing games. It is used by the people who are in creative fields, those who want the best laptop for rendering videos or editing photos.

Some of the key features of this device are a 12.3-inch Pixelsense display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, Intel USD graphics (i3), or Intel Iris Plus graphics (i5 and i7). A USB type C port, Type-A port, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and micro SD card reader. While at the front,  a 5-megapixel camera with full HD video recording, at the back you get an 8-megapixel camera. There are also 1.6-watt stereo speakers with Dolby audio and dual far-field studio mics. In India, the Surface Pro 7 starts at ₹72,990 and goes to ₹1,42,000 for the 16GB+256GB model respectively.
