Motorola Edge S launched in China.

 Motorola Edge S is the first smartphone to equipped with flagship Snapdragon 870 chipset.

Finally, Motorola has launched its Motorola Edge S which goes official in China. The look and feel of the device are excellent as its rear panel is curved and has an edge-to-edge display with dual punch-hole cameras. This is a 5G smartphone as this is the first smartphone to be equipped with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 5G flagship chipset. Moreover, there are no words yet on its launch in India.

Motorola Edge S specifications

The smartphone features a 6.7-inch FHD+ (2520×1800) LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10 support, and 21:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The chipset is based on a 7nm processor, comes with 5G support, and offers a clock speed up to 3.2GHz.

There is a 64MP primary sensor, a 16MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. The phone also gets 16MP primary and 8MP wide-angle front-facing cameras for selfies, houses a 5,000mAh battery, and supports 20W fast charging. The Motorola smartphone is equipped with four sensors on the back that includes three cameras and a TOF sensor. The device comes with IP52 splash resistance and a headphone jack.

Motorola Edge S price

The smartphone is available in Emerald Ryuko and Early Sunny color options. It is up for pre-order now and the first sale starts on February 3rd. Motorola Edge S price in China starts at CNY 1,999 (approx Rs 22,500) for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The higher variant like 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants are priced at CNY 2,399 (approx Rs 27,000) and CNY 2,799 (approx Rs 31,600), respectively. 

In India, Motorola has not satisfied its customers because they don't launch smartphones at a good price.
